Owner and mechanic Charlie Kocornik has been immersed in the bike world for over 40 years. He started with racing BMX in 1976 at age 12 (achieving a top 20 National ranking with several National race wins). He continued Downhill MTB racing in the late 90's (ranking top 5 Nationally) and has kept the passion for the ride ever since.

I can't do a bio for the shop without talking about music. Music has always battled for top passion in my life. I used to be in an Alt Rock band called SunShine Blind. Bikes and music have always been a way of life. A therapy for mind, body and soul.

Like most bike shops, Elevation has been a labor of love. Our love is all things dirt and off road (motos too!). We don't do road bikes (although we do repair them). We sell what we ride -- the best mountain, gravel, and Cx bikes …period.
